Men of Europe !!!!

Our lands are being encroached upon by hoards of tsarist heathens, shopkeepers from England and those people from Prussia and Austria.

Even now our glorious Emperor is in the field leading legions of infantry and cavalry to glorious victory over the rabble that infests our continent.

Where is the Tsarist emperor ? He is in his palace far from the fighting.

Where is the feeble, weak willed Prussian lackey ? He is being ordered about by his wife, the only real man in Prussia.

The English King is hiding under his bed and is so out of his wits that he must let his son rule in his place.

The less said about the Austrian Emperor, the better....

Join an army where the leaders take as much risk as the common soldier.

Join an army were anyone can rise to as high his abilities will lead him.

Join an army that does not know what defeat is.

Join an army that pays you well and asks little in return except loyalty and courage.

Join France !!!!

Is the stream of French recruits drying up at last? Surely not![:0] Does the world tire of Bonaparte's tyranny?[:p][:D]. Or is it a case of 'immitation is the sincerest form of flattery'[;)][:p] No doubt General Ludwig will have more to say on the matter[:D]

Gentelmen, here is something I must say came from the heart as I could not bear to see such insolance towards the Grande Armee.

Death
As my withered hand beseeches you
As my body lay shattered and broken
The long blade of mine enemies bestows me onto you

Death
Come quickly send me to your mortuary
I have no need of a rosary
I have a full measure of my Dementia taken
For my soul calls my body to its grave

Death
Before I whisper my last
Let me hear the anguished screams of mine own enemies
Let their death light up the dark bleak night
That I may savor that last embrace of gleeful happiness

Death
Why do you lurk in those shadows
My living memories are Vivid
yet my dying was foretold

Death
Why must I suffer such placidity
put me in a trance
let this fractured semblance of man
exit your stage.

Of course you know I would have written this as my body lay shattered and dying on a fine Napoleonic Battle Field.

Vive L'empereur !

Lt. Colonel Angelo Abruzzese,
12e Chasseurs à Cheval
2e Brigade, 3e Division Cavalerie
IIIe Corps ADN

The French army - best in the land! [;)]

Most envied for their food (yours taken from your orchards) and we get to see more of Europe than any other army!
