Bill how does the slider works, becausse i can than maybe play against better opponments. I hope you can help me.
The slider can moved to the allied or french player.
What are the effects?

I assume you mean the Advantage setter on setup? Well it means results are skewed one way or the other. So, if a weak player faces a strong player, then in theory by setting the advantage bias towards the weak player, the game should be more even. The weaker the player the stronger advantage he gets in results. To my knowledge it is never used in PBEM games. It is always, or should be set, at 0.

Andy thanx i did know that but by example i put it on 10 to favor the French. Everything he hit has that 10% profit, casualties.

Maarten - most of us dont use the slider because even at the setting just to the right or left of the middle point you get drastic differences.

I highly suggest it when playing the AI to add in some difficulty factor. I dont suggest it in head to head games with a human opponent unless you like high losses!

In games where one player is better than another its best to give the player with less ability more troops. That seems to work better than using the slider.
