General Asher seems to have it right.

I've only done training games for NWGC, but have done a number of ACWGC games, and the PBEM termination bid is there for a reason. If your opponent and you can not agree to a victory level to end the game on, then the game should continue.

You can not be forced in to a loss because your opponent does not want to continue.

I have had two such games were after three or up to ten turns the Allied players quit.And I eat the major lost? One player said that I railroaded him into the game but i still got a major lost on it another said that I was not playing argreed rules major lost ?

Mr Seeney, if you are talking about our Waterloo game that got cancelled, you did not take a loss, if you are not talking about that one, I apologize.

If a game stops as one of the players did not want to keep the game going. and a Term bid was not done. then the other player will get a Major Victory..

Always make sure that the rules agreed at the start are played. . Or one of the players will not be to happy, and may just stop returning files.

The main thing to do then is end register the game and find a new member to play,..

I have also seen in my many games. its not always the winning of the game but the way it is played, i would be happy to loss any battle if the game is played Historical ,

I have seen lots of changes here with game play and have seen more and more members going over to fight how the Armys did in these times. .

I would like to say . If any member is not happy in a way a game has been played , Please report this to your Corps Commander.He will get it sorted out for you.

With all the personal problems that my Corps commander was having I did not no to trouble him as for my Div commander I never hear from him only when I send in muster report but will use this information to change my win lost Merci.

Now, not knowing the specifics, I can't get deeply into things.

However, a game once agreed upon should be played to a mutual conclusion. If one player quits the game, the other player is awarded a major victory.


HOWEVER

And, not knowing the specifics, I cannot comment on your particular situation. If you started a game with agreed upon House Rules, and there is a legitimate dispute over those rules being followed or not, the situation becomes much more complicated in a hurry. Frankly, if, when being entirely honest with yourself, you can see where it is thought you violated those house rules, you should eat the Major Loss. If on the other hand, you feel it's a matter of intrepretation of those rules, and neither of you is clearly "in the wrong", than I'd suggest that instead of trying to claim a "victory", you should both just take a draw and move on to other foes.

I tend to agree with Gary too. I have had people disappear after a few turns and I usually call it a draw or wait until a game is 1/3 over to even register it. The only time I ever took a victory on a guy who stopped responding was after he demanded a bunch of rulesm did not follow them, and took off after 6 turns. Took a Major on that one.
