Yes and those Brits are dressed just perfect in their scarlett uniforms. Well when I say perfect red is a great colour to see at a distance around the effective range of a 12pdr of our Emperors guard![:D]

Colonel Knox,

I don't suppose that you play any Talonsoft games?

If so there are some matters I would love to discuss. For example, the effectiveness of French cannon when faced by British scarlet clad steel.

Brigadier Graswich
Allow me to buy you a bourbon although we French prefer wine or cognac.

Is that a challenge I sense?

Unfortunately I prefer HPS now sir, Talonsoft ZOC eliminations can be just to excessive for my taste. I would be prepared to meet the British 'scum of the earth' [:D] in a HPS challenge though.

BTW Much offense to the shopkeepers of the perfidous Albion is intended [B)] but not to you sir.

Salute!

BTW if someone is interested how Napoleon managed to dominate in Europe and why wasn't the Revolution destroyed in the first years he may find the answer here. It was exactly like in this thread. Prussians and Austrians were looking more at each other than on the french danger. Brits helped both and bit both at the same time, Russia is well out of there. In this situation all the first coalitions didn't have an aim to destroy Empire and recreate Bourbons monarchy, but only followed local interests of the participants: to attach Lombardy or to destroy trade fleet of Holland etc. Amazingly such a simple structure as our Club mimics main features of behaviour of such a complex system.

PS Colin, I know I owe you and Tomasz a turn and will send it within a couple of days.

Yes, I was issuing a challenge for I hear that you are quite the player and I would like to cross swords.

Unfortunately, it appears that we are on opposite banks of the gaming river. You on the HPS side. Me on the Talonsoft.

Someday, I will have to build a raft, but not today.

Good luck!

John yes sir your reputation is known to me too. We must find a way to have a sword crossing perhaps we must play one TS then one HPS.

Anton interesting observation I agree - the role playing seems to be well done.

By the way why are the Russians not sticking to the continental system as we agreed at Tilsit?[:D][:D] The Emperor is only seeking to enlighten and free Europe from the tyranny of the monarchies.

Looking forward to that move!
