Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

We are getting new recruits coming through who only have the new Matrix version of the old BG games. As I understand it they are not entirely compatible with the original versions most of us own. Is this true? And if so are there any folks out there with the new versions who are willing to help out with training?

I have trained a couple of cadets in the ACWGC who had the new Matrix games.

They are fully comptiable unless there has been a change.

OK, and that includes the Tiller Upgrade?

Tiller upgrade is included in Matrix vbersions so you are good to go

Greetings, gentlemen

First I would like to say hi, and express my thanks for the warm welcome and help I have received so far from Andy, John, and Jon.

On topic, a friend of mine had the old Talonsoft version and I have the Matrix one. Our file would corrupt after a few turns. He may not have upgraded his version, causing the problem. Hopefully everything will work out, but I am going to get the HPS titles soon either way.

Look forward to seeing you guys on the cyber-battlefield.

I must admit it was a tough decision. This tricky propaganda (http://www.wargame.ch/board/nwc/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=9676) almost sold me on joining the French ranks. [:D]
