I am trying to liven up the colours a bit and maybe use colours taht represent the various armies.

I have increased the font size by 1 to make it a bit easier to read.

any suggestions

WOW - big print. Reminds me of 3rd grade! [:D]

Scott should feel right at home. With the big print that is![:p]

He must be having a coronary over this lovely BLUE background.

Ah, the wonderful afternoon marches in Northern Italy. Ah, the wonderful march down the main Berlin boulevard as we took residence. Ah, the great German cooking and lodging! Ah ... the good old days.[:D]

Mon General ,A nice background would look more the period we are playing. It might give the players a way of playing the roles of the people that they carry the name of.Maybe a super impose pic of one of the Great Battles! With lurels around the frame of this is so hard and morden much like a office we work in.

For me the bold larger font is hard on the eyes. I preferred it as it was. I don't mind the background being blue, although I think a softer, less bright colour would be easier on the eyes. A more subtle scheme would work better for me. No harm in trying something different though...

<font size="2"><font face="Verdana">John,

If you want it back to what it was I believe the font was originally Verdana, and font size 2, as I have formatted this post. Or am I thinking of the CCC forum? Anyway, Verdana is a nice clean font and easy to read, in my opinion.

<font size="3"><font face="Book Antiqua">...Or if you want an old fashioned look Book Antiqua, size 3 looks ok, as used by the ACWGC. It is easier on the eye than Times New Roman, in my opinion.

Thanks John, and the individual user can always control their own font size by going to the "View" menu, then "Text Size" and selecting the size they wish. It will impact the entire forum for them, and not alter anyone elses screen.
