Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

Gents,

I am sure you noticed the PayPal button in the upper left. The cost for the site is <200 US. Depending on currency exchanges and such. It is not a lot of money but the person paying it would appreciate the contributions. There have been some contributions ~$70 in 2008 and we thank those who have contributed. I think that a reminder once a year and a indication of where it stands would be helpfull.

Wargame.ch has been running for 10+ years, a reliable and dependable service, which has ensured the stability and continuity of the NWC and a few other clubs.

This is a call to those who wish and can contribute to do so. A small amount by many people will go a long way. I will try to provide a total in order to reach the goal of at least 200. A similar request will be posted at the ACWGC so we should be able to cover it.

How do we know how much remains once donations are made?

Would the PayPal link be removed automatically?

I am in communication with Alex in regards to this and that would be a good idea to remove the PayPal once the sum is sufficient to cover the cost.

Everyone in the club should be thankful for those that contribute.

The sum needed is not that great. Hopefully it can be quickly accumulated. No harm in being able to carry the difference over to 2010. The goal here is to keep Alex interested in supporting the site. He has been great for the 10+ past years but as you know interest wanes and an incentive that would keep him going would be very helpful.
