Mssrs.,

Since the luster of our victories has been tarnished by charges that the French are guaranteed a victory in the Grand Campaign Scenario, "The Russians Are Coming," Marechal Beacham and I would like to challenge two, experienced, Allied officers to participate in a "reverse" Jena engagement. We would command the Prussian and Russian forces while the Allied officers would command the French.

Only veteran, preferably Guard-level officers need apply.

Regards,

Paco

I am not one that subscribes to the belief that French are assured a victory in the scenario, however I would love to particpate if another Allied Officer will step forward.[:)]

This coming after Dean and Paco beat myself and Marco Rietveld in a game where they were the French.

I am convinced that if the Allies hide in the woods and never come out that they can win! [:D]

Actually Marco and I had a good strategy but the lengths you have to travel in the game are deceptive and long columns take a long time to bunch up and form up for combat. If there was one thing I learned in our game it was that playing the Allies is going to take some fine maneuvering and handling. Good luck to Paco and Dean! Now who will be first to take up the gauntlet?

Mssrs.,

The challenge has been taken up by MG Blackburn of His Britanic Majesty's service and Major Berli of the Imperial Austrian Army.

One last round for the house and it's off to Prussia![:p]

Paco
