The I Corp HQ is overrun, dispatch riders are haveing trouble finding us and our stable have been taken and the horses lost. Cossacks everywhere (even the wine cellar! - but that stopped their advance). I am desperately regrouping my HQ battalian to retake the the HQ but its still in doubt if I can get them sober enough to stand let alone pick up a weapon and advance.

Translate - my internet is down and haven't been able to get email in and out since Thursday. I have had 6 muster replies before I went down.

I can assure You, that all the dispatches captured in the HQ of the I Armee Corps will be carefully studied. All the Allied Armies will be informed if anything significant was in the dispatches. Also be free to serve yoursekf with the best wines of the wine cellar of I Corps.[8D]

Glad tidings! We managed to retake the Headquarters without the loss of one bottle of Bourdeaux. I did loose three wagon loads of captured vodka - those Russian cossacks ALWAYS fall for that trap. I did forward a case of the good stuff to G-M Kosyanenko for removing his drunk troops from the grounds - they were killing the grass (plus it was Gen Moss's vodka to begin with).

I managed to get the monthly dispatches out before the celebration once again laid my officers low. I have ordered the Gendarmes to ensure someone is always sober enough to keep the rabble at bay - Lt AuCain is first up to man the night watch as the newest member of I Corp. As for me I will head to the bar....
