Obviously don't answer yet, as the games are still going. And I don't really mean "how balanced was it". I really enjoyed the discussion that that question led to about the first round, with people giving their impressions of the ground, the forces at their disposal and the strategy they employed. (Quite apart from the break out into anglo-saxon rivalries which I also enjoyed - suffice to say for my New Zealand colleagues "four more years".)

The question I would like to see discussed on this board - at the appropriate time - is "What was your strategy for this scenario and why and how did it work?" and I just wanted to give people the time and the perspective to think about how they would answer it.

Excellent Neville I look forward to the intelligent discourse with pleasure. A fascinating scenario again from Muddy.

I noted that my opponent was armed to the teeth with tooth picks. My defense to this was to bring along a big sponge. When he fired the tooth picks at me I never even noticed! [:p]

Ok, I didn't play this time around but would love to hear the strategy talks too![:)]
