All Allied Players are invited to participate in the Campaign 2011 Tournament- A Tribute to Austerlitz. Allied Officers from any Allied Army can sign up for this tournament. Even though Austerlitz is headlined in the title, scenarios are available to play from a list, not only from Austerlitz, but also from other HPS titles, Wagram and NRC, as well as NiR for Battleground fans. There are shorter scenarios and longer, large and small, though all full battle. Take your pick. Matches are mirror matches, each player taking each side in 2 games, to avoid any problem of advantages in scenarios. The tournament is a contest of mirror matches between officers from the Allied Side and officers from the French Army. Points are awarded for each win and the side, Allied or French, with the most points at the end of the tournament is declared the winner.
We are ready to begin the tournament, but we need more Allied Officers to match French officers who have signed up to participate. There are a good number more French than Allied Officers presently signed up for the tournament even though officers from any Allied Army can participate.
This is a call to arms for Allied Officers to meet the French on the battlefield.
The Tournament Web page, maintained by Lt. Gen. Marco Bijl, and including the rules and list of scenarios is at:
