 Post subject: Compatibility Question

Santa provided a new computer for Christmas, which being new, runs on Windows 7. The CD drive appears to run when I put in my game discs, but it does not show up in the tree. Are the Talonsoft Battlegrounds, and the HPS Napoleonic & EAW series incompatible with Windows 7, or do I need some sort of emulator installed, or is my drive not functioning properly, or what? Any help would appreciated.

A far as I know, the old Talonsoft games ( not the newer Matrix versions ) will not work on Windows 7.

HPS works in Windows 7 but you should check the HPS Site for tips on installing on windows 7

I was just about to post the same question. Do you know for sure if the old talonsoft games do not work? Also with the hps games I could run the CD and get the game installed but when I run the update patches i get an error message.

I am going on hear say in regards to the old Talosnsoft games. You will have to try and see if they work.

As to the HPS games. Check the HPS Site for tips on installing on windows 7. I had no issues.
