From Charlemagne to the present time,
France has always shown the way
.

Now we see Europe engulfed in war. A war not of France’s making. The war is brought upon us by those who fear the greatness of France. Who fear the ideals France stands for. Ideals such as Liberty, equality and justice for all.

France does not want war but when war is thrust upon us, we fight and we fight to win.

Our army has the best leaders, the best soldiers and the best spirit.

Join France and help bring peace and liberty to all of Europe.

Yes after all the club's name is based on our glorious leader. Only those who prostitute themselves to the Merchants of London do not see the valid cause of liberty and equality that our glorious Emperor has spread across the previously oppressed peoples of Europe

Vive l'France Vive l'Empereur

I thought people joined France as it was the last refuge of scoundrels and persons of low morals, like your miniscule emperor.

You seem to be mistaken, not surprising, given your affiliation with a guard as opposed to the Garde, so I will endeavor to fill the gap in your education.

The last refuge of scoundrels and persons of low morals, aka taking the king's shilling in the service of perfidious Albion.

Well good sir if you would care to pick a scenario I'd give you battle on the field of honor. I'm sure you can find someone with a dictionary to define honor for you as it is a term probably unfamiliar to the officers of that Corsican piss ant.

I object!!

Perfidious Albion, that odious warmonger, colony thief and back-door financier, was certainly NOT "The last refuge of scoundrels and persons of low morals". I thought they sent them all to Australia!!

From the horses mouth quotes from the Duke of Wellington

'Ours (our army) is composed of the scum of the earth'

'People talk of their enlisting from their fine military feeling - all stuff - no such thing. Some of our men enlist from having got bastard children -- some for minor offences -- many more for drink.'

Oh dear I believe this may be case closed.

Dang, Colin! I can see that we are going to have to confiscate all of your books you literary bugger!

I hate to admit that I enlisted for all of those reasons!

And a couple in contrast from the Tondu

'Great men are like meteors, which shine and consume themselves to enlighten the earth'

'I love a brave soldier who has undergone the baptism of fire'

'Soldiers generally win battles; generals get credit for them'

Are yes the enlightened leadership or our glorious emperor casts a bright light on the history of Europe
