Per capita recorded alcohol consumption (litres of alcohol):

Luxembourg 14.6
Ireland 14.2
Hungary 13.6
United Kingdom 12.0
Germany 11.9
Denmark 11.7
Spain 11.6
Portugal 11.5
France 11.4
Russia 11.3

Good old stereotypes are still alive.....
As you can see Bill, your Prussian brothers in arms along with most of European population drink more than Russians who as per your very thoughtful statement “have wild vodka parties”.

Why have we French officers not been invited to these parties? I have noted the array of female Russian tennis players and if this is a good sample of your feminine stock French officers should be invited to these wild parties. We will bring Margaux and fine perfume of course not Vodka

On a serious note the western world has a pretty big problem with Alcohol so Bill labelling the Russians in this manner is well somewhat Russianphobic.

Now Alexey bring the vodka and your tennis players to this table please...

Colin,
No vodka is to be shared with the enemy or surrendered without a fight ! You French have always been jealous of our national drink always trying to capture some. Not surprisingly such attempts usually resulted in a massacre, as French-Russian battles consistently had the highest casualty rates from both sides.

As Sergeant-major of my Moscow grenadiers preaches:

“Lads, under no circumstances vodka is to be surrendered or lost in combat! Such loss would badly impact your morale and would disable your ability to run “wild vodka parties” with our famous female tennis players.”

I hope you all see why you now should join Russia – not just you get the most comfortable uniforms, but also “wild vodka parties” at the company of most talented female sportswomen.

I try to give the context of events happenning, but you do not want to take it. I try to show you the raw facts, but they are neglected. Facts can't be good or bad. These categories can't be applied to them. They are either true or false. But you do not try to investigate correctness of the facts. You just reject anything that you don't like, that is "bad". This happens because you already have an explanation. The facts are adjusted to better fit explanation, not vice versa. And this explanation can't be changed without severely damaging your whole personality. But changes do happen. And that is really painful.

This attitude has nothing to do with history. This attitude has nothing to do with Liberty, that you think you are so fond of. Your mind is locked in cage. And it does not even notice its presence. It does not even allow for a possibility of such a cage to exist! And if you are really thinking that way you will never be free. And I have pity on you.
