Sir
As the Allies appear to have exhausted themselves lining up for slaughter by Jeff Bardon (the Prussians anyway. Can't think what the others are doing. Shampooing their horses perhaps), would you consider a friendly match?

I should say my observations about the apparent shyness of the Allied side do not include Bill Cann, with whom I have been in correspondence. Due to some compatability issue between our versions of the game, our operating system or the basic physics between Australia and Canada, we have not been able to actually start a battle.

Sire I know that the Allied have over extend them selves one with his horse dying on the battle filed and the others put up bounties on French Commanders. It might be hard to get them to fight. Maybe their Russian comrades will come out and play in these hot dog day of summer.

I must say that it is very refreshing to see you Frenchies dishing out a little grief to us dowdy Allies (or perhaps it was just my Hanoverians who are dowdy). Shampooing our horses indeed! Silly Frenchmen, we only shampoo our horses once a month, and even then only on the weekends.

Oh, and Colonel Marbot is absolutely correct, there was that issue of The Rat's dead horse. We really did have a time burying the poor beast, although it probably would have been more sensible to have fed it to the army.

Beg your pardon that I did not answer your request earlier, Sir. I was watching the cavalry men shampooning their horses. Some used shampoo with apple flavour. So the horse drank the shampoo and got sick. Quite strange there cavalry men.

I´ll go and wax by boots now. I heard the grounds are quite muddy around Waterloo. Then I am ready to meet you on the battlefield.

Does "any game" include Napoleon´s Campaigns? Iwould like to do this one. Or Les Gognards if you prefer. Although I have to admit to be a bloody newby in this one. But I should make it well enough to stand the attack of a Frenchman anyway.

Btw, have you ever used boot wax with mint flavour? Gives you a fresh feeling even after a forced march.

Hello Marechal Jonathan Thayer,

I ve sent you a courier but you didnt answer. Maybe you still need an opponent than I would be pleased to cross the swords with you on the Field of Glory.
I agree every battle and every rule but I want to make a suggestion for an own designed scenario. If you are interested I could send the scenario to you.
My turn rate is 5-7 a week.

with kind regards

Major Zafer Ejder

Major Ejder,

Not sure why your mail didn't reach me. Please resend a message to thayer2544@gmail.com and we can discuss a game.

All this French trash talk. One only has to find my tent if they want to test themselves against a verteran allied officer. By the way, I am still waiting to hear from that upstart New Zealander about a game -- Knox is his name.

Sir
It would give me great pleasure to muddy the field with you once more. I am unfortunately rather hard pressed for time just now, but if I may, I will send a friend when it is mutually convenient?
