Anyone up for a long big game #T1Austerlitz; Rules general house rules I like playing the table top 30-40 rule 40% French dead Major defeat 30% Allied major defeat but i will compromise.

I would be interested in having a match with you. I am confused as to your scenario reference. My HPS Austerlitz game only shows 2 large Austerlitz scenarios, each of 66 turns. They are
21A-HTH-Austerlitz, an Alternate, in which the French defend the heights and
22H-HTH_Austerlitz, the historical scenario which was used in the recent Master of Europe tournament. I can't find any reference to a scenario number as T1.
I am also unfamiliar with the 30-40 tabletop rule. While I understand and agree with the intent, what is the basis for allowing the French up to 40% casualties while the Allies are limited to 30%. I would be more comfortable with 30-30.
As for optional Rules, I prefer to use them all other than Manual Defensive Fire, No Retreat Overruns and No Melee Eliminations. Let me know. Bill

No, I had no knowledge of the scenario. If the odds are as you indicate that the 30-40 percentages would seem quite fair. My email address is

wcann@shaw.ca

Where can i find this scenario on the Austerlitz disk? I look forward to hearing from you. Bill

After a more careful search, I found scenario T1. Given that this is a scenario designed for multi-players, approximately 4-5 per side, I think that it is too large for two players. The amount of micro management required with such extensive OBs and troops spread over such a large map area is more than with which I would be comfortable. Might I suggest that instead, we play 22H, the historical scenario. Bill
