Thanks, fellows, I certainly do appreciate all of the kind thoughts. I also would like to extend my thanks to all of those officers whose votes and support made it possible for me to successfully compete in this year’s Presidential race. I commend all of the officers who cast votes, in any manner, for their active participation in the election process. I am a firm believer that active, and honorable, participation by our officers will make our club extraordinary.

It is with a humble heart that I accept the great honor you have bestowed by electing me to be your President for the coming year. I fully realize the responsibilities it entails, and will work to the very best of my ability to bring additional success and honor to our club. I have already received numerous emails since the announcement of the election results. Many were signed in such manner as “Your Obedient Servant”, “Boss”, and “Mr. President”. Flattering terms sent with the very best of intentions, to be sure, but despite such platitudes, I promise to never lose my focus on the reason I have become the newest president of the NWC. This election was not about me, or my venerable and respected opponent. It never was. This election was always about the many fine officers that comprise the NWC. We are a brotherhood of gaming warriors who, together, have the ability to make the NWC the very finest gaming club anywhere on the internet. Our future is entirely up to us. I am glad that you have chosen to allow me to be an integral part of it. I look forward to the challenges, and many successes, yet to come.

There may be a brief lull in my public activities as I read all of the prior correspondence in the Cabinet forum which has previously been obscured to me. I will also be studying the administrative functions of our forums to become familiar with their operation. I must make sure that I assimilate as much of this new information as possible so that I will have a better foundation of knowledge with which to move forward. I do not expect this process to take very long.

Once again, I would like to extend my thanks to John Corbin for the fine work he has performed as my predecessor. I also extend my thanks to the many other officers who have contributed, and continue to contribute, to the success of our club.
