Just a comment on MP Games - as we have international members I find it best to NOT discuss politics in emails. Try and keep the discussion on the game or real life things in your life such as a vacation or trip to a battlefield.
I was in a MP game some time back in another club and one of the two opponents (both from the same non-US country) was discussing things from an anti-US slant which prompted me to say something I probably wouldn't have said normally. It just ruined the game - both them bringing it up and me responding.
In the future I would just let my opponents know from the beginning to keep their views of my country out of the emails. They have no place there. Something to consider.
I love my country and realize that we screw up but our games are no place for political viewpoint. Just a note from experience ...
On a positive note I find that MP games are a great arena for someone to help a member with his game. Thus a subtle suggestion to anyone in the club that needs help with their game - you were trained once by an "Ecole" or "Sandhurst" member in your army. Take my advice and get into a MP game so someone else can see how you set up an attack ... (this tip is NOT directed at any ONE person so do not take it personally). As the years go on we forget some of the tips we were given by our trainers.
