Looking for a French opponent for a small to medium sized Eckmuhl scenario.

Wow Joe! The French must be afraid of you!

Hope you get a game soon.

For Heaven's sake, Bill, of course the French are afraid of a Coalition Lt. Field Marshal! They normally send Marechal's out to kill our Captains. Our beloved, blue brothers don't have a rank high enough to contest Joe.

I'll bet if we thoroughly checked the Rhine Tavern, we might find a few Frenchies cowering under the tables or in Helga's broom closet.

The Triumvirate of France has been relatively silent lately, and they are virtually the only ones to routinely rise to the defense of their Empyrial Putz.

Maybe some of the newer French Lieutenants will display some bravery and take up the slack of thier missing Marechals.

looks like this could be the case.

Maybe if I shifted the battlefield to Austerlitz, a weaker and less organized Austrian field army may be more tempting.

Maybe me playing the role of the unfortunate General Mack, may be akin to dropping chum in the water for the sharks?

I say, "Chum 'em, Joe". Then when they rise to the surface, gig 'em like the Frogs that they are!

Sir,

I will be happy to meet you on the field of Eckmuhl and uphold the honor of France. La Grande Armee has chosen to send me, a mere Captain, since all of our Lieutenants were busy. Not only am I a brilliant strategist, as are all our officers, I actually own the correct game.

I await your response as I sharpen my sword.

Capitain William Reaves
Commanding Officer
1st Division, V Corps

Hey Joe, whatever you do, don't insult the sawed off excuse for a monarch that Bill follows, or anything that is perfumed for that matter. It only gets him started. The hard part is getting him to stop! He just called me an Impotent Son of a Hanoverian Cow in my game with him.

I don't know where he gets it. I suspect he has a large stable of Hollywood script writers at his beck and call. I just can't prove it.
