John Tiller has not published a game that has that great battle in it. It is on our list of titles to do though. But do not pester us about when it will be out or I will get Mark Jones to plant a tarantula in your locker.

Any time I come across Copperheads here on the farm, I kill them with a brush hook. They really don't have much more of a chance than with a .38, but it just seems more fair to engage them in hand-to-hand combat.

Besides, with my luck the dang bullet would richocet off an unseen rock and I would end up shooting myself. The other reason is that I always seem to encounter them in areas populated with other animals, so shooting them is not really a good option for me. And then there is the fact that I am probably just plain crazy to begin with......

Up here in CT all I see in terms of the Pit Viper Family are Timber Rattlers or Copperheads. Honestly, if their not bothering myself or my puppy ( I don't have any kids, I'm 26 too young for the whole marriage kid thing) I leave 'em be...However, once I feel threatened; it s over...One time I had a .22 with some critical Defense ammo and a nice 6 ft. Copperhead took a snag at me=

Dat don't look too gud for dat darn snake!

Yes, as a Hanoverian Jager, and an excellent marksman, I have long advocated the superiority of the ranged weapon over the antiquated and obsolete sword. I am still, however, constantly baffled how the French Cavalry officers, such as General Knox, seem to still manage to somehow wend their way through what should be a superior defense, place the tip of their sword against my person, and compel me to relinquish my markedly superior weapon.

It's the perfume all those French dandies seem to wear. Makes the eyes water and throws off the aim, that's why I stick with a good salad fork.

Yes, I must admit the the perfume of the French dandies is literally overwhelming, and that is when you can manage to remain upwind of them. If you are downwind or the wind happens to shift....well.....God help you really!

You know, sir, now that you mention it, that villain Knox did approach from upwind every time.... :o :o :o

I have got to get one of those fine salad forks for close in defense, although I am sure that my weilding of it would fall far short of the expertise exhibited by one of the King's finest Field Marshalls!
