John. Not actually retired yet. Just no longer training. Had planned on going at Xmas but then Leipzig came along. And it seemed wrong to retire with 99 major victories.

Colin/Anton. Esteemed company to be sure! I'd rather hoped for a single player game with no house rules at all, an anything-goes type of game. Gone are the Halcyon days of Richard Barrett; Ray White; Mick Shevak and Stephane Chicouri who have all left/been kicked out or simply locked up. I'm just getting old and nostalgic. And drunk.

Mr Moehle!
Crotchety old bugger eh.
Yes it has been awhile. Quatre Bras as I recall through an alcohol-induced haze.
I'm up for a maneuver indeed. The French Army isn't what it was when I joined up. None of these house rules and what to do and what not to do with a supply wagon or Col Anonymous in my day. Or wrangling over optional rules to gain an edge. Just plain butchery and engine bending. No whining.

Sad that my last game will be against a fellow Allied but still.
I shall send you an email later tomorrow when I've sobered up.

Yes I believe our last head to head battle was QB. However we spent our last battle as allied chasing a trio of those perfumed French dandies around the Waterloo campaign map. I will look forward to hearing from you tomorrow sometime.

Regards
Walt
