Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

The 1. Reserve-Kavallerie Brigade Strikes! Sekondlieutenant Michael Fredel and myself are looking for two French officers who can stand the test in an MP Leipzig game.

The size can vary from very large to medium.

2-3 files per week minimum. No slow turns if possible.

Lively banter expected! No "Your moves" please!

Options to be discussed prior to play. No Embedded Melee but NME must be ON. Other rules to be discussed as well as House Rules too.

Mature players please. We look for a fun game. If you feel a rule has been broken discuss it first with your teammate and then contact us. We all just want to have fun enjoyable game so make sure you discuss anything prior to play that you think is gamey and should be avoided to include using officers as scouts, us setting traps with routed units that went in behind your lines, that kind of thing.

I usually do not play "anything goes" but at the same time if you make a stunning charge, hey, nice job!

Leipzig is nice in that BOTH sides have ample skirmishers so the old days of "Well the French have more than us" goes right out the window and hits the street with a crash.

Herr Fredel and I are ready to go! Who will step up to the plate and fight for the glorie of France!

I have not yet had the pleasure of a multi-player game. I would like to accept this challenge, but I am in need of a senior French officer to sponsor me. If a brave and patient officer agrees to accept me as a partner, I would be honored to command part of the La Grand Army.

Great! I know that Paco is pretty tied up at present but perhaps Herr Jeff Bardon might play as your partner. He and I were looking to play a one on one game but maybe he will accept you as his partner.
