Sirs,

The reforms of the Austrian Medal System are now complete. No previous medals were changed, only added a bunch more in.

http://scott-ludwig.com/NWC/Austria/Aus ... Medals.htm

Only the Austrian Battle Battlefield Awards are available to other Coalition Armies.

The effort was to expand what the Austrian Officers could be awarded and to bring a full, complete set of medals to take pride in.

You'll also notice the OOB for the Army has the medals associated with the officers now.

http://scott-ludwig.com/NWC/Austria/I_Armee_Korps.htm

This has all been approved by Kasier Franz I!

All Hail Austria! :D

Bill - Strong German's don't need back straps, only the French are spineless....

Scott,

does that mean that battles in Campaign Leipzig,Campaign Austerlitz and NRC (Gorodechna etc) are not counted? Are those tournament scenraios where one commands Austrian troops counted? What if they, scenarios, are made under say Campaign Waterloo?

The game engine and the corresponding battles listed are what stands right now. When I have time to expand the medal set I certainly will, but for now, it will remain the same... :)

When I do it'll only be expanded for Leipzig & Austerlitz, no others. I am not getting into the whole Mod thing....

The real reform can be seen on the back. The Austrians have gone to velcro. Too many lives lost during the pinning ceremonies with the old stick pin style. :-)

LOL - actually Al we Prussians still use the old pin style. And Scott LOVES to pin them on us as often as possible! Since the old baton is outlawed ...

Robert,

this is done by Army Administration. In your case there would be an individual web page with all the info. You may find it useful to browse the Army website http://www.nwc.albom55.ru/RusArmy/index.html There you will find info on ranks, awards, personal pages etc., etc. The site is not updated yet, so there is no page for you right now. But it will be soon.

Very impresive, quite the assortment, and medals for all occasions.

My personal favorite:

Military Order of Maria Theresa Service Cross: " For those that perform great
bravery in the sight of their Commander while in a Multiplayer Game. Rarely awarded!"

It's like I wrote the description myself. Great bravery.....from an Austrian?

So if the commander isn't looking you don't get the medal?
