As I was at work for most of the weekend @ the Fire Dept, not doing too much  I was thinking to myself, I must be playing quite a few games right now. So I decided to count, quite a mistake!!

Right now Between HPS and CNaW (With NWC Games) I am playing: 10 games give or take.

I also play over @ the ACWGC and I have 3 or 4 games going on over there as well!

Totaling a +/- 15 games at once!?!??!?! :o :o :o

Is there anyone else out there who is currently as crazy as me and is in the double digits in active games in this club? or with a Combination of ACWGC, CCC, MACGC ?

Let's just say, I'm a busy man!!!

Having Tons of fun!!!

I believe I have one of the hightest amount of games ever played at once held in any set of clubs.

At one time I was playing in 55 games at once.

Yes, 55.

And amazingly enough I could remember them all too.

Someone else I am sure has me beat in that number.

I now am in:

NWC: 7 (about to start up an 8th)
ACWGC: 5
M&CGC: 1
PCC: 1 (against Ernie Sands - does that count?)
The Blitz: 2
Playtest: 2
Field of Glory: 6

Hmm, 24. A little low for me when I am in full stride.

Gasp....Choke.........

55 Games as One Time!!! Why that's just.....CRAZY!!!!!!

My hat's off to you, Bill. That is absolutely amazing!

OK, I know a Hanoverian that I am pretty sure has Fred beat at the moment and probably very closely rivals Bill. What? Oh, no, it is certainly not I. It is...............Lt. Thomas David Phillips! At last count he was running somewhere between 21 and 25 I think.

Congratulations, gentlemen! Bravo indeed!!

Well it was probably too cold in Oklahoma for Al to take off a shoe to count to 2.

ACWGC - 4
NWC - 3
PZCC - 3 (one is the 750 turn Normandy Campaign)
Blitz - 1 SQB, 1 1914
Matrix - 1 Bombing the Reich 43 Long Campaign (743 turns)
Playtest - 2
OOTP (Out of the Park Baseball Leagues) 2
Front Office Football League 1

Usually Al does not count those The Indians vs. The World games he plays in the CCC. He always has about 30 of those going at any one time!

Oklahoma does that to you.

I forget what his Indian name is in that club but its something like "Medrivebigchevytoschool."

I have run out of fingers toes and other appendages, so my total is over 25.

ACW, Nappy, PZ, Musket, CCC, and another club or 2.

And one vs Bill Peters. (It is like taking candy from a baby.)

I'm replying a few weeks late but ...

YOU GUYS ***ARE*** FREAK'N CRAZY!!!

I'm lucky to manage ONE game, sometimes TWO, at the same time.

I do have a few other things going outside this game hobby ... (i) raising 4 boys [ages 4, 7, 14, 16] ALL BY MYSELF, (ii) working 50-70 hr/wk as researcher in electronics, (iii) teaching couple nights a week at local community college, and (iv) active amateur bodybuilder (4th place Superheavyweight 2010 Western Regionals & aiming next for Masters Nationals 2012 in Pittsburgh this summer). If I couldn't release stress #4 I think I'd really go CRAZY.

But maybe when I retire in a few years I definitely would like to play more of these games I absolutely love. I think it's the escape-ism.

Regards

Thanks Scott. I quit coaching sports (football) when going through divorce in 2009 -- no freetime at night watching kids. What fit into my schedule as single parent was going to gym in morning before work when kids at school. So went back into bodybuilding at age 47. See picture

In picture I am 6'4" 230 lbs 3.5 % bodyfat and am at far right. I admit when I started again at 44 yrs, I was 220 lbs 30% bodyfat, so ex-wife I've heard is bothered I got in shape AFTER we split. C'est la vie!

I guess it was RAGE that got me into shape but now it's habit.

I never considered you an infant, Ernie!

I have the file to do and I know that you are dying to unleash those panzers against Patton at "While my El Guettar softly weeps" ...

Thanks Ernie. I'd be remiss if I didn't show my FAT (30% bodyfat) photo when I started my divorce in June 2008. I guess I used food to combat stress; better than drink or drugs but not ideal.

Hopefully this can be of use to others in similar situations (which I have to hazard to guess many other wives, not only mine then, are unhappy being ignored while we play all these games, etc ... JUST SAY'N!!!)

Regards
