They just need 180 million pounds to get it up and running. 8)

Located south of Montereau, SE of Paris, it will be a great tourist site for those that know next to nothing about Napoleon.

I guess we should look to building either Grantsland or Leeland!

Perhaps the article could have been worded a bit differently?

(from the article - I do not think that they meant to link one paragraph to another ...)
Other curious potential attractions include a ski run through a battlefield "surrounded by the frozen bodies of soldiers and horses" and a recreation of Louis XVI being guillotined during the revolution – the precursor to Napoleon’s rise to power.

"It's going to be fun for the family,” he Mr Jégo told the Times.

-----end of article segment----

YEE HAW KIDS!!! Bring your hatchets!

After reading the article, it's kind of weird to have a themed park around Napoleon and do a reenactment of the battle of Waterloo, like if it was the only thing to celebrate about Napoleon.

There was a polemic in France few years ago because Trafalgar was more celebrated than Austerlitz.

I honestly cannot see the project being funded myself. I just don't see the marketing potential there for the masses, which will adversely affect a continuous generation of revenue.

Have I listed my ten books on Waterloo lately? The ones most likely to come out in 2015?

1. Betty Crocker's Waterloo Cookbook - Favorite Dishes of the British officers.

2. The Battle of Waterloo - New and Improved Version.

3. Waterloo Stitches - The Art of Sewing on the Battlefield.

4. Sketches from Waterloo - Small, relatively unknown stores never told before to anyone, anywhere, at any time.

5. Waterloo Mindscape - How the Battle has Impacted the Publishing World.

6. Artillery at Waterloo - A Microcosm of the Napoleonic Period.

7. The Prussian Way - How Blucher singlehandedly Won the Battle

8. The Forgotten Legions - Combat unit histories of the Regiments at Waterloo.

9. Torn Curtain - The Balloon goes up at Waterloo.

10. Waterloo Reappraised - a Major Work in Our Thyme.

recipe number one in your cookbook bill would be horse steaks cooked on the breastplates of french curassiers... i believe that actually happened.
