Yes, tis true Lieutenant, I am indeed planning another round of martial festivities this summer, all against the better judgment of my psychiatrists to be sure. It will be based on the new Leipzig title. Bill Peters himself has even volunteered to design the custom scenarios that we will use for tournament play. As the contest will be divided into Junior Officer, General Membership and Guard Officers, the tournament should pair officers of comparable abilities which is always the best method to ensure enjoyable play. My instincts tell me that you are likely to do quite well in the tournament, although the competition will no doubt be fierce. More the reason for me to ply you with copious amounts of wine in the interim in order to increase the odds of obtaining your signature on these Coalition Enlistment Forms before the tournament actually begins.

I have tried the same with your talented General Knox, but the inevitable result was a very bad hangover for the both of us. There was the time when we were both so badly intoxicated that we each signed the enlistment papers of the other. Once we sobered, we agreed to exchange the papers and destroy the evidence together. That would certainly have been an embarrassing incident were the knowledge to have become public. Much as it would have benefitted the Allied cause, seeing General Knox in a uniform of any other color than blue would just not seem right to me. Of course, had the exchange actually taken place, La Grande Armee would have come out much the loser I am afraid to say.

Helga less red bull for Bill but please bring him a freshly squeezed OJ on my tab.

Now Colonel Jones I do believe you had to much Jager Meister that night, such an event is about as probable as hell freezing over, Anton Kosyanenko abadoning his beloved mother Russia, Bill conducting an all out blitz attack, the Tondu conceding natural frontiers and FML Sir Muddy suddenly joining France abandoning the perfidous Albion for good

Now also Colonel Jones my uniform is not blue it is green with a scarlet Pelise.

The flag of my regiment is the tricolour of France though.

A final thought - it is you who wears the French uniform in our MP.

Well, well, well; if it isn't the fanciful Peacock of France himself. I stand corrected my good friend and inveterate adversary. Your uniform is indeed not the more common variety of blue typically bandied about by your fellow warriors. Yours is indeed perhaps the most colorful uniform of all, blending the colors of my beloved Jager green and the scarlet coat of command I am now compelled to wear. Of course, being that this is the weekend, I am at the very moment adorned in the scarlet dress of the British Guard Dragoons.

Speaking of my, ummm, alternate uniform in our MP game, I have an idea……..

Maybe its JMB again? Would not surprise me.

He has left the community a long time ago... And I don't think we will see him again.

David - have a lemonade on me! Let's have fun and forget the whole thing. I mean if new guys quit the club over this who cares. Nobody else seems to ...

Here Helga, get the fine Monsieur a nice big steak and potato! That's right, he likes it rare!

Ah sire Mark! Yes, come on over and sit down. Tell us about your journey's in Denmark. How are the Danes these days. I see them in conference. Are they going to hire the Bedrock Brigade? Ah good! Those boys (Bam Bam especially) have been looting in Westphalia. A real pity too. Thanks for the news sire!

Yes Helga, put it on my tab. Two fine officers of the club should never have to pay when they are at my table!

Now I must be back to get my brigade ready for the next campaign. This one promises to have plenty of Opponents for ... um .. the march on Paris! :P :P :P :P

This new guy is not going anywhere and while I may not always agree, I also have to respect someone who has been in this club for so long and involvement with all these fine games.

Battle On!
