Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

Guys - Andrew Moss is helping to playtest a campaign file I just finished for a future release and during play he had a power loss. The .cpf file would not open up again.

He was playing the game Solo and I know that this will not impact us as much but remember to save your .cpf files. If you some how lose the file and the game crashes due to any system crash (power or whatever) then the file will not open up again.

This may only be for the Leipzig and future titles. I am not sure. Just letting you know so you can be appraised of the situation.

For Club Games: I prefer the Single Phase mode of play. I prefer to play with the following options OFF:

MDF, VP4LC, NRO, MTD, CMR, PR, MIM, NDM, OMR (ver 4.07)

Here is some batch file code to automatically save two generations of sent and received game files with the click of a mouse. "G:\games\waterloo\" should be replaced with the approriate path to your game directory, "tourney2011_round1_as_pr" with the file name. Each game you are currently playing needs its own batch file, [gamefile].bat.
