But Todd that is one specific battle or variations of such, Leipzig has a whole ton of different battles in it and not all are Allied romps.... 8)

Plus Jena had a series of flaws in changes that were made in the patches that were out for years that gave the French a massive advantage and people just said the hell with it....

Messr Scott, salute!
I meant the whole game, not just the specific scenario.
Yes, there are some flaws in the game (some which could affect the French if you take 10-20,000 VP conditions into consideration).
But there are some great battles in there as well: Karlsburg (playing a fantastic game with Oberst Moehle in that one), and some of the Campaign game scenarios make great stand alone battles as well.
Leipzig does have some good scenarios, I agree. Have had fun at Grosbeeren, and trying my hand at Dennewitz as we speak.
A fighting chance in any scenario is all I ask for.
Mon ami!

There have been plenty of Frenchmen who have cried foul too....I believe you did in the last Tournament Mon Ami! :D I also believe it is you who cry foul at Jena for the points needed by the French to win.

Btw Todd I was talking about the whole game and there was a patch some years back that raised the French morale and made the game unplayable in most Allied eyes. By the time it was fixed the game was not of interest to many.

Btw Cliff, I don't see the French trying their hand at NRC a lot? You afraid of the Ruskie Bear! How about it Cliff, you want to fight in NRC? I'll choose the scenario and you can agree to it, none of your 40-60% rules, just a straight forward no strings attached game! No big scenarios either, I don't have time for those.... 8)

Before they sell a game that should fix a game Am still wating for a Russi to move that I sent a week ago. I play any an all game any time . I think that 1805 were the allies out number the French is full of it and how can you not win at Ulm? 1806 French win if they score 10000 point so play the 16- 30 games, 1809 well he gave us one if you can get over the bridges and if you not in the two Towns. 1813 with out doult :x , 1815 now that's a bon chance if you can beat the Prusse. I still waiting for a new Brit to send me his game. Didn't mind losing to Andy he beats you with protection on unlike others who beat you bear!

Cliff,

In no uncertain terms did I say I will choose the ground, I want you to agree to it and look over the scenario and like it as well....if you don't agree, we find another. Both of us will have the chance to agree on the scenario....

My observation is that losers make excuses and then complain.

I have won the big JA battles as both the French and Allies and have lost both ways as well. In fact I just lost an MP battle of The Russians Are Coming" to two very fine players.

"Leipzig Unleashed" and other scenarios are quite winnable as the French and I will be happy to demonstrate that FACT.
