Welcome Louis! Glad to have another Allied member with us.

Those Frenchies will try and get you to play the longest scenarios. Just stick to something simple for your first few games, enjoy the club and eventually you will be find yourself locked in a Battle of Leipzig one of these days.

Which games do you own?

Welcome to the club!

There are some great players here who you can learn a lot from. I am not one of them but just love to have fun!

Welcome to the club, Louis! I see you have already made an acquaintance with two of my very finest, Hanoverian officers. Oh sure, they sound civil enough, but keep a close eye on your purse, mein Herr, for they will drink your savings dry before you ever know what happened.

Ah, well, being destitute just gives you more incentive to relieve some poor French officer from his purse, supply wagons and sword. Best of luck to you, Ensign Water! You are our very first Portuguese officer and we look forward to drinking to your victories here in this most comfortable, little pub. :P

Welcome sir! In the interest of making a poor destitue allied officer even more so, I would be happy to order a couple of casks of ale on your tab.

Take your time, playing the games of a style and length that suit you. That's one of the best things about the club, there are always others that enjoy a similar style. And if you are concerned with taking on more experienced foes, then I suggest you start by playing maneuvers with some fellow coalition members. It's a great way to practice before engaging in what must assuredly be a colossal defeat at the hands of the mighty Grande Armee.

Cheers!

Bravo Jeff well said! Monsieur you pick the game you pick the rules am here to play win or lose for I have lost more then I have won 34 of them. But I still play it's fun to me and keeps this senior person busy. When you are pushing 70 every day is a gift and every new person in this club to me is a gift.
