Today at about 2pm I suffered another one of my attacks/minor strokes and this time it lingered longer than I would like.

I spent the next several hours with my mind basically out of touch with everything wargaming and basically just going through the motions.

I now realize that I am going to be pressing the envelope far too much by remaining in game clubs. Thus I have sent in my resignation to Scott Ludwig.

Some of you may laugh about this. I am not. This time I am basically going to call it a day while I still can.

I will be sending out personal notes to my opponents. This was NOT an easy decision because frankly Scott Ludwig is the best club leader we have and he gave me a very important command position. I do not take that lightly. Thanks Scott and you know how I feel about your devotion to the club. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Mark Jones for the dynamic leadership you brought to this club. I am glad that it has not been "business as usual." Looking forward to hearing more good things about the club in the years to come.

I have a great fondness for this club. I helped start it and at one time or another I was the commander of three of its armies. I helped start two of them. They both are still active (though one of them went through a recent reorg).

This was where I came to to get feedback for our games. I am glad that you guys told me how you felt about the games. They are not perfect.

This is my final post on the forum. I hope that you guys understand that unlike the other times where I could return this time I know that I just need to call it quits while I have my health.

Best of wishes to all of you guys and remember - the Black Menace is still the brigade to beat!
