Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

Playing any title from HPS aside from the new ones JT games has released, i get a white screen on part of the map any time i try and click on it? Drives me crazy and makes the games unplayable, which is a shem seeing as i own 5 of them:-( Anyone have a fix that will allow me to avoid that problem? I tried compatibility, changing screen resolutions and neither worked.

Ken,

The issue is with, mainly, the Nvidia graphics stuff. There is no work around. As patches get rolled out the new fix is included. Just have to wait.

When "white" shows up touch your mouse and it usually goes away. I notice if I click while the game engine is doing something the "white" shows up more. Patience may be the key. Patience while playing the game, and definitely patience while the new patches are being rolled out.

At least the Nap series has a higher priority than my beloved EAW series has.

I am trying to be patient, really. It is just so frustrating because I enjoy playing them. Well at least I can play Leipzig and 1814, just not well:-)

Am playing it again and I can tolerate it. Doing Leipzig right now and getting pounded by the AI right now

Hello,

I just got a brand new laptop with windows 7 and a nvidia graphic card... I was definitely satisfied with my purchase untill I tried to play Jena or Waterloo... it only runs fine with the 256 colour mode

After 5 days I am still waiting for an answer from HPS support

Hopefully a patch will be issued some day...
