If the Total war people can come together for games on Tues and Sunday's I can't see why we can't have the same. I know many are working and work does come first. Reduction of points is not the way to go but a time frame would work well games should be a reflection of the people who play, big games longer time short games less time. And most important the Commanders of Armies should be the ones out in front of this. I don't clearly understand this administration thing they are always talking about I thank it tacks up to much time. ADC and deputy commanders can handle way more then one Div or Corps commander and every Army should have a Adm. Officer. And more then any thing are rewards winners and losers rewards.

Gentlemen,
there is one easy way to resolve the problem: when we played the Divisional Tournaments, our team-leaders (ComDivs) had responsibility to make a move for that officer who for some reasons wouldn't play; we did it after two days of his "silence". That is it.
So, let's create your divisional teams.

Gentlemen officers, salute!

The provisional team of the Tirailleurs et Dragons! is currently four officers strong, and are at present involved in multiple battles (including a Brigade Challenge vs members of the Hanoverian & Brunswicker Brigades).

I would expect at this time to be able to get involved in another Challenge sometime this Fall, and will be glad to help organize such a tournament.

Discussions should continue concerning games/scenarios, rules and other guiding conditions.

I have found in my own experience so far with MP games that a rate of 3+ turns a week is quite feasible (when summer vacations don't take their toll), and Prince Repnin's solution about the Commander making moves for players unable to do so is more than reasonable.

I am also hard at work trying to organize more combat teams from the various Corps of LGA, and believe that as we go forward this situation will improve.

Interested officers may contact me thru PM at my club encampment, and then I will give my private email to any who don't have it already.

Regards,

Gentlemen,
let me to offer to transfer our conversation into a new topic with the thematic name like Divisions Tournaments.
I hope, it could be much more recruitable and creatable. :D
