Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

Gentlemen of the coalition, Colonel Moore, Lieutenant Breckenridge and I are looking for 3 allied officers to take part in a 3 on3 multiplayer Ligny-Quatre Bras (HPS Waterloo scenario, either variant 1 or 3).

To keep things simple,we are looking to use only one house rule, that being embedded melee.

As far as optional rules, the following would be ON:
-Leader VP's
-Isolation
-Melee Terrain Modifiers
-Column Pass Through
-Target Density Modifiers
-No Retreat Overruns
-Weak ZOC
-Flank Morale Modifiers
-Multiple Cavalry Melees
-No Melee Eliminations

Scared you off did we?

Someone must be able to rouse themselves..... anyone?

Variant 3 has I corps fixed for the French at the outset with a low % of release, and a chance for the Prussian IV Korps to join in. The allies have the numbers and the objectives, while the French have to reach 1000 points to eke out even a minor victory.

Russian Cavalry team has proposed a counter-offer. (see Lt Cav thread on Main board)

We'll see about the counter for the Russians, but still looking for this one.

This is the first foray for our division as an MP, and the size/# of turns is a good one for 3 players a side. As senior officer on the French side, I'll be in a reserve role. Allies can do a similar arrangement based on Bulow's schedule.

So, you are just going to give away Belgium?

Should another 3 member team be unavailable, I'd be happy to defend Belgium. I've played in a few miniature games against 3 or 4 players in one game (won a few, too). I guess I could see if I have any multiple personalities roaming about in the back of my head to make it legit.

Seriously though, I'll take y'all on if noone else steps forward.

I guess we'll march through Belgium later, after a slight detour further east (and almost 10 years prior).

Officers, salute!

The semaphore station is reporting on the looming battle between the Light Cavalry of IV Corps, LGA and the Russian Dragoons and Cuirassiers.

The dispatch station is hoping to receive regular updates from the distant battlefield in Moravia.
