Gentlemen Officers of the NWC:

The months of August and September are very special times for our club, for these are the months in which the members of the NWC choose the person that they want to serve as their President for the coming year. Starting tomorrow, August 1st, any active member of the NWC may nominate any other active member of the NWC to stand for election as the Club’s President for the coming year. Nominations should be privately emailed to the Cabinet in accordance with Section 3.3 of the Club Rules which can be found here:

http://users.telenet.be/fsg/NWC/Rules.html

All members of the Cabinet should be included in the nomination email to ensure that the nomination is properly received. The email addresses of the six Cabinet members can be found here:

http://www.acwgc.org/NWC/Webpages/Cabinet/cabinet.htm

Nominations will be open until August 31st, after which time the names of the nominees will be announced. Any person so nominated must, of course, accept the nomination in order to stand for the election.

The Club President is the only elected officer in this club, so I encourage each of you to participate. This is your chance to make a difference in the future of our club, so please, let your voices be heard. Let the nominations begin!

(As a precaution, I am going to lock this topic as I know someone will try to post their nominations here. Remember, nominations should be made by a single email copied to all Cabinet members.)

As there were no other nominations, I shall serve another term in this office. Thanks for the support of each of you. Together, let's make 2013 an even better year for our club. :P :P :P

Mr. President, fellow officers of the NWC, salute!

Congratulations Mark!

Thank you for all the support you have given me in my relatively short time in this club, and for all the help I have seen you selflessly give to others!

Our club is a great place to come and meet other people who so enjoy these games, and to face one another upon the battle maps.

And your service as president is no small part of this success!

Thank you again, sir!

Regards,

B'rack Yomama, huh?

And here I always thought Nappy B was your hero!

Too bad that the Nomination Period closed yesterday. As Maxwell Smart (Get Smart) would say, "Missed it by that much!"

Seriously though, thanks for your support, guys. This is your club. You fellows are the ones that make the real difference. I appreciate everything that each one of you does to make this club a better place to be. I just interject my own brand of warped humor from time to time.
