At their encampment, the Tirailleurs et Dragons! heartily welcome the newest member of their warrior band, Col Roy Purcell, of the 3rd Brig, 1st Div, V Corps.

The valiant Col Purcell is even now making his way towards L'Armee d'Allemagne, to help lead the fight against a rumored Austrian insurgency (the soon to be started custom designed R&H Eckmuhl in One Battle scenario).

Insurgency? The Austrian Royal House is the most honarable in Europe. The Russian Czar is a regicide, the Prussian King is still searching for his backbone, and the British King answers to Parliament. But as for, Napoleon? Please, it was L'Empereur who wrested control of the Italian provinces away from their foreign masters, and established enlightened republics.

Indeed, it was this Napoleon who has forced your master to change his moniker, from Holy Roman Emperor to just plain old Emperor of Austria... Really...

Yes, I wonder, how was it that all those famous paintings ended up in the keeping of the various Borghese, Machiavelli's, and certain Pontif's (I truly tread lightly here, as this can be a touchy subject, and one I do not wish to inflame...). And, as everyone who reads their histories and the Almanac de Gotha knows, the Haplessburgher dynasty was founded upon a certain robber baron who sat perched a top a hill that dominated the local trade routes.

All I am really saying, is that in the sphere of war, the boiling cauldron is stirred by might.
