The iNWC aside, no Club format is sustainable without involvement from all sides. Participation, changing ideas and being open to new thoughts from your members keeps things fresh.

But everyone runs their course eventually, but often or not, unless at deaths doorstep, they do come back for more. That'll be my case I am sure. Up on 10 years next April and divesting of duties is the name of the game for me, as I suspect to become either a line officer or gone for a while starting some time in the next few years.

Change of duties is always healthy though, helps refocus you a bit, a reason why I left the Cabinet. Needed a change. Now I don't feel so tied to the day to day here anymore. 8)

Monsieur, sorry to get away from your topic but it was prime for a so many to get their views in. And since am here the Napoleonic wars were a world war and Haiti played a very important part in it. The American war of 1812 and the the selling of new France. I can't see why Haiti can't be a fighting country, I know a lot of you History buffs would say they never had a field army on European soil but this is a game not real history. Am only saying let me be a nation to myself and any one who wants to join me and fight both as France and allied to whom ever wants to had a battle ! But oui I need to keep my 2557 points and 10VP and 6MV and who else who joins me. As I see it it will be open season on moi , not at all worried. More battles more Glory! Vòl Titit

Most excellent indeed, Anton!

I, myself, have recently returned from a two week trek that included a foray into the swamps of Louisiana as a part of the adventure. My wife managed to capture the best photos of the gators. I may post a few of them if she will grace me with the digital files.

I have to admit that we were a bit better protected than Detective Ventura. Wrestling an aligator is really not my preference, particularly in his swamp while treading water.

Indeed Mark, I will add I must say I have never thought of the soldiers of Holy mother Russian as Ace Ventura like but I am standing corrected.

My dear General Knox, if all of the Russian soldiers perform with the elan of Comrade Ventura, it is easy to see why your Emperor's foray into the Russian heartland was so effectively repulsed.

My dear Brigadier General Jones if General Knox had been there leading one of the Emperor's Corps things would have been much different on the stepps of Russia.

And one other thing... Glad your back, even though your are a lacking of the English King.

My dear Colonel Kling, although our uniforms could not be more diametrically opposed at the moment, I do find that I am in agreement with you. General Knox is a very fine officer indeed, and a most worthy representative of the Empire of France.

As to my being a lackey of the English King, well, you are probably right on that account as well. That is the thing about being Hanoverian, we are really forced to serve whomever of the larger powers seem to have the upper hand of the moment. Rather like being a pinball in my experience.

In any case, the King of England does pay very well. :P :P :P

More importantly, his Majesty, Sir George, did not abandon me in the barren, freezing steppes of Russia either.

Yes the King did not do that, because he was to afraid to leave his Island prison, but I will admit as an Island it is a bit larger than St Helena and like Napoleon he had English guards.

Glad he paid you well!
