Christophe Sarazin and Christophe Boucheron could you please send me your last turns. My computer evidently got into some bad haggis or something and puked out all my contacts and the emails that I had.

Dear Sir Nelms,

Are you actually suggesting that there could ever possibly be something defined as "good haggis"?

The only thing of which I am reasonably certain regarding haggis is that you, sir, would most certainly utilize a fork to facilitate its consumption!

The young aide rushes into the tent and shakes the Field Marshal awake Andes whispers in his ear urgently. The Field Marshal bolts out of bed, throws on his clothes and dashes out of the tent as fast as his advancing years allow. Mounting his horse he gallops down the road to Brigadier Jones encampment where after a good distance he intercepts most of his battalion. Quickly and sternly he orders them to a halt! "Soldiers, I'm sure Brigadier Jones was only joking when he insulted your haggis. Now unfix your bayonets and march back to camp and the whiskey will be on the good Brigadier!"

Indeed even a Frenchman such as me gets rather testy about haggis insults being hurled around like sporams. Especially by a man with a Welsh name! You don't see we Scot descended lot bagging your leaks do you. . You can take a leak anytime you like we don't mind we don't complain. It is after all a part of French culture to do thus.

I guess I am throwing cabers in a glass castle perhaps though as like Marechal MacDonald I have chosen the side of enlightenment in the struggle against the perfidous Albion. Indeed I call all scots to join the true cause. Marechal Nelms bring those Gordons across the ditch to their real home sir

Well, I must admit to being a rather confused mixture myself. On my Father's side, I am Welsh and Irish, hence the Welsh surname. On my Mother's side, believe it or not, I am descended from French nobility, the Richmonds, who were unseated by the French Revolution and the rise of Nappy B.

Many thanks, Field Marshal Nelms, for sparing my recalcitrant hide. I did not realize that I had spoken so loudly.

In point of fact, I have never sampled haggis, so I really cannot speak with any level of certainty concerning its delectable nature.

Whiskey, eh? For an entire battalion no less? Well, I suppose it could be worse, certainly for me at least. Belly up to the bar me laddies, this Hanoverian is buying again.
