Congratulations and Battle On...

Keep the pressure up and do not let them re-group.

Honors will be yours!

Congratulations sir! Always good to see the lower ranks mentioned in dispatches. The old gout inflicted ones don't fully appreciate how such news warms the cockles of our families back at home. But be weary that whilst you nibble on that sweet cake of victory, some Anglo-Allied sort may come and smack your jaw in mid chew....

We celebrate our victories over our enemies, without belittling them and brush off our defeats only to_____

Battle On....

I could not agree more. I think this is a very important concept to breed enthusiasm and combat apathy. In my opinion, the focus of our club should be on the Junior Officers much more so than on the Senior ones. The Senior Officers should be respected for their achievements, much more so if they still remain active and lead, but the Junior Officers should be constantly encouraged so that they will grow into the active leaders that we hope them all to be when they become Senior Officers themselves.

Thank you all. It was a pleasure to defeat my opponent in the battlefield, though my poor English makes difficult for me to defeat him with words (he is known in the forum for his nice writing and for his use of jokes concerning Napoleon height) ;)

It was a short scenario, Leipzig scenario number 046, "The Battle of Kulm-Day 1", just 36 turns and a few divisions fighting. My opponent was always ready to make laugh at our battle even if he was losing most of his brave mounted men in desperate charges , and it was a pleasure to fight against him.

Neverthless, I know I have a lot to learn yet about this game. I'll try to achieve more victories for the short Empereur but I know it will be hard.

Regards
