Yes that is correct, Lieutenant Lopez was once General Lopez
with the La Grande Armée's I Corps some years ago.
He is coming back to LGA with the goal of working his way back up the ranks!

He will assist the officers of LGA to protect the Empereur Napoleon
and the French people from the old despots of Europe.

He is assigned to his former I Corps and will command the
27éme Régiment d'Infanterie Légere, 2éme Division, 1ére Brigade.

Please wish this former General a hardy welcome
and look for him advancing through the ranks as he defeats his opponents.

Battle On...

The Hanoverian Guardsman chuckles at the introduction of Lt. Lopez by LGA's Chief of Staff. "I really don't think General Kling will ever understand", he quietly says to a red coated Hanoverian officer known as 'Die Ratte'. "Nothing will ever be able to protect the French population from the righteous wrath of the world over this verdammt war that they started, much less that sawed off, Corsican Despot from a well placed Hanoverian bullet." :x

Raising his voice and his glass, he addresses the taverniers, "Welcome back to the army, Lt. Lopez. May you always remember to duck."

Welcome back, Hector! Great to have you back in the Grande Armee once more.

Watch out Herr Jones, this fine officer is one to be reckoned with.

That was then, this is now. Lt. Lopez missed most of the wars... Napoleon destroyed his army in Russia, in Spain, in Portugal, lost at Leipzig, and was forced back to the borders of France.

Lt Lopez has much to learn on his return.

Rumor has it he starting talking about the virtues of royal birth and that intelligence and good manors can only be bred into a society. Obviously he has been sent to Citizen's School of Right Thinking and learning to Say Yes, located in the Bastille campus, for a re-education..
