The Austrian invasion of Italy in September of 1813. A new NRC-based scenario.

If you wish to be in command of all Italian armed forces in 1813 to stop the Austrian invasion, this scenario is for you. So, what if the King of Naples Murat have united the Kingdom of Italy and Kingdom of Naples armies, and at the end of September of 1813 took a defensive position in the north-east of the country along the river Tagliamento to prevent the Austrian troops invasion of the peninsula. Even forces of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies filed a helping hand to the brave marshal of Napoleon. "Hannibal at the gates!" The fate of Italy is in your hands now.

This is my presentation to our native Italian club-mates.
An idea of the scenario is What If? but all the rest is extremely historical.

You're right, sir! It is very convenient for MP game.
Two-days scenario. A huge map of the Tagliamento river valley at its middle.
The special feature of scenario: No French troops. Except the Neapolitan King and some of his retinue, there are only native officers and soldiers. All the historical Italian and Neapolitan units of 1813 Campaign.
Under the national (!) tricolor: 82,500 Italians with 234 cannon (together with the Regimental Art.) in 3 Corps, plus 8,900 of the Sicilian Div. on the second day of battle.
74,500 Austrians with 216 cannon in 2 Corps, plus 11,000 men of the Russian Expeditionary Corps on the second day of battle.
Both sides have a lot of "the Green" recruits.
On the early morning of September, 28th, the Italian troops are mostly in bivouacs, or on march.
The Austrian corpses are on march from the Wurzen Pass (the historical north-east route of invasion) and from the Predil Pass (the historical east rout), and just begin to come on map.
As a typical river of the Alps foothills, the Tagliamento is fordable everywhere along its bed in this season.
So, both sides players would have the wide range for any maneuvers along and across the river valley.
And my special love, my hobbyhorse: the fine uniforms of Italian troops! All those Granatieri, Veliti, Cacciatori, Fusilli, Cannelloni, Stromboli! What a color! What a smell! What a taste! Magnifico! Delizioso! :D
By the way, I did not expect the British-like uniforms of Sicilian troops are so colorful.
Those guys have sent their sadistic, crazy royal couple to the devil, and is hastening to help Italy against the Hapsburg's invaders. Lets help them too! Viva Italia!
