Sirs,
I was watching old photos I had saved when I found one from 2007 when I visited a battlefield of the Napoleonic era.
Here is one of the photos to see if they can tell me is that battle.

That's me (in 2007 youngest) at the monument is at one of the Arapiles, well I do not remember which, from where I took the first picture.

Well I figured out that it was a Spanish battlefield... so after that looked at the topography. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Although, I do find the fact that a French officer could so quickly discern the thoughts of an Anglo-Allied officer to be disconcerting. I certainly hope this is the exception rather than the rule. :shock: :shock: :shock:

Unfortunately for the Spanish ulcer it was Wellington who could discern the French thoughts to often and too many French Marshals who did not take time to think much at all that was so disconcerting! :?
