Salute!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of my battle map opponents for their patience and kind words of encouragement during the recent Herculean effort I had to endure while getting a new computer up and running.

To tell the long and short of it I've been dealing with Microsoft 8, and being a self-described Luddite this was no easy task.

The issue was with trying to load the current updates into the games - which was a nightmare to say the least.
Sometimes they would take, and sometimes they would not.

But finally, after three days of effort I have been blessed by the gaming god's with success!

All of my friends upon the battle maps are too many to name, but you well know who you are - thank you again!

And a big shout out to the best President any club could hope for - Mark Jones -

Mark not only offered words of advice and encouragement but took a lot of time and energy (of which I'm sure there is little to spare) to help me with file downloads for my Eckmuhl game.

I am forever indebted to him for his own efforts on my behalf.

So, for all my comrades - and anyone else who wishes to join in - the drinks are on me!
And Der Jager's crystal glass shall never be empty!

Very glad to help in some small way, Todd. I want to see everyone having fun and playing games, and you have to get them loaded to be able to do that. You are a great opponent and a shining asset to our club yourself. I am glad you chose to make your home among us.
