A shiny, new medal, eh? I must say that it adds a rather nice touch to your fine coat. You will have to get accoustomed to the French officers tearing up every time they see you now. There is something about the word "Waterloo" inscribed on your medal that makes them very sad and nostalgic. :(

Did I understand your commanding officer to say that he was buying? Drinks all around, Helga! Yes, yes, even for our misguided French brethren. They will need something with whichto fortify their courage and restore their composure.

Thank you all. I would also like to thank the French in their participation in attaining this fine addendum to any uniform. As for those tears, I will add a flannel patch to one of the tails of my new dress uniform coat so they may wipe their tears away.

All this excitement does make one thirsty ...

Viva Espana!!!!

Well done Major Bradshaw! Now lad tell me, did you use the salad fork or did you have to go for the big guns and use the dinner fork?

Congratulations

A medal to adorn your coat too as well as a promotion, hell you will be General next, god help us then. Maybe in the new year we can meet again on the field of battle and this time give you the horse whipping, you gave me.

In fact Waterloo would be a fine place to start, and this time I won't use my cavalry as much and I can deny you the points.

Helga, wine if you please that Bordeaux was exquisite.
