What our Spanish Major is trying to say is one of those women was himself, in fact if you ever battle against him always ensure your baggage has plenty of women's clothes, perfume and lace, he loves things like that.

Yes and the Major gets confused a lot, something to do with fighting for the Allied Coalition.

Welcome Sir and Salute.

I have found that French baggage always includes plenty of lingerie, perfume, and lace as the French officers would not dare be carted off to the Anglo-Allied prison barges without a change of undies.

Ah, General Seeney, I suspect that Lt. Hornsby is a typical Frenchman, more the lover than the fighter. His sword is ornamental, and only worn to impress the ladies. Most likely it has no real edge at all. :D :P

Sirs

Your jest is very funny, but I believe the women from the Allied countries prefer pine as it doesn't leave splinters and has a smoother finish especially when polished.

As for my sword, maybe one day we may meet on the field of battle General and I can show you how sharp my blades edge is. Major Bradshaw, lets not forget, you owe me a rematch as I think it is time I showed this Spanish upstart another lesson on how the French fight as I do believe I lost only on a small technicality of points last time.

So bring plenty of nappies with you as I think you might need them to keep your breeches clean after you have soiled yourselves. Wait one minute, ah yes, it states in the Allied Army Dress Regulations nappies are part of the kit and the War Office purchases lots of them to send out to Allied troops in the event of an encounter with the French.

Anytime you feel ready, Lieutenant. I have some availabilty at the moment if your bravery allows for the contest. I salute your eloquent verbal assault on the Coalition, but so long as it continues, which I do hope that it does, I will continue to challenge you to match the bravery of your words to your bravery on the field of battle against me. :D :P

As I'm feeling very lucky at the moment and need a win under my belt, I shall take your offer, how about a small skirmish in the Matrix Battleground games or would you prefer a large battle.

As I'm a gentlemen, I shall let you choose.

Now lets see if I move that painting to the left I can hang your sword in that space on my wall along with your medals. A fine trophy they will be.

Oh and before I forget I've booked you a single room at the Hotel Bastille, unfortunately there are no en-suite facilities but they do provide bed, breakfast and evening meal. They say the evening entertainment is very good and the staff are very pleasant if you can afford to pay them.

As for the other costs don't worry its all free.

Maybe Major Bradshaw would like to join you in the near future.

I await your courier Sir.

Well spoken, Lieutenant. Your good fortune does indeed seem to continue for as I once played the BG Series extensively, I moved on to HPS/JTS many years ago. I do not, in fact, own the Matrix version, nor do I have any real interest in purchasing it as I personally find the HPS/JTS Series to be a notable improvement over the older games. My new computer has rendered my old BG Series games inoperable in any case.

Should you ever transition to the newer series, I would be most happy to meet such an eloquent warrior as yourself upon the field of battle, however fatally misguided your cause and confidence.

It is for for the time being sir, yes, unfortunately since my partner has become ill and I had to give up work to look after her, money has been a tad bit thin on the ground and there are always more important things that need paying, so I content myself with playing the Matrix Battleground Series.

I get plenty of opponents so I'm happy. :D :D

Maybe soon I might get the chance to purchase Leipzig and Bautzen, maybe we can lock swords on them.

Well young Lieutenant, I am a big believer in revenge being served ice cold, perhaps on a slow moving glacier. So I will take up your lavender scented, lace doily of a gauntlet. My trophy wall is quite small as on now, actually it is a 4' X 4' board with only three swords on it. I think one has a monogram of MH. Easily portable should I have vacate a battlefield due to unforeseen circumstances; weather, famine, plague, Frenchmen ...

Lets try something in Russia. I'll have a look and send a few suggestions.

Hey JD,

How is it going, and I hope you are getting a warm welcome from both sides of the battlefield!

Hope to hear from you soon, welcome once again and of course...
