It's my pleasure to announce that after completing his advance training Christian Hecht has earned (and not paid like in some others armies  ) a new rank, he is now Lieutenant Christian Hecht commanding the 25ème Régiment d'Infanterie de Ligne in the 2 brigade of the 3e division / IIIe Corps of La Grande Armée.

Congratulations Lieutenant Hecht!
The first round of drinks is on me.

Helga, a case if Jagermeister for me on General Guegan's tab! I am feeling particularly thirsty in the first 'round'.  :?

And please let me know how many more cases remain in your cellar as, in our time honored tradition, all subsequent 'rounds' will be on our new, French Lieutenant.

Congratulations on your graduation, Christian! :P :P :P

Salute!

Congratulations Christian! :D

I enjoyed our initial training session at the Ecole. :)

May you bring honor & glory to L'Empereur's eagles! 8)

As I see so many friends here this is a celebration indeed!

Hmm, L'Chevalier might even partake of the jaeger-liquor with Maj Gen Jones.

Regards,

Hah, so good to see a Frenchman with a hearty constitution for a change! By all means, General Schmidgall, please join me for some shots. Whereas I am sure the young Lieutenant's meager funds will quickly be depleted, I would bet that General Guegan is still holding reserves. Let us see if we can force him to 'commit the Guard'.

Welcome Sir <Salute>

It is a brave young man indeed that takes up his sword for his country.

Or in the case of those unlucky enough to choose France, Foolhardy. ;-)

A noble cause Sir, and one serving as a member of III Corps it gives me great delight to see one of our own gaining promotion.

Congratulation Sir, and may you have many victories.

General Guegan has no need to commit his Guard when we have promising young officers within our ranks.

You can drink as much Jagermeister as you want since it's inferior to my Chartreuse...

Thank you gentlemen!

I am honored by this promotion and I look forward to join my regiment in the field.
I hope to prove my worth and pay back the trust that my superiors set in me.

A special thanks to General Schmidgall & Lieutenant Colonel Hödl for teaching me the necessary lessons for the battlefield.

And to Maréchal Kling who enabled my to enter this tavern in a formidable uniform.

Last but not least to all the others that supported me on my way since I joined the Grande Armée.

My dear Helga don't let those gentlemen run dry tonight, all drinks on me!
