Can anyone tell me has anyone used the downloads for the Matrix Battleground Series games from the website http://www.nap.phxsim.com/downloads/

I am wondering what they are like and do they work. Just so I can add a few more battles to the Matrix Battleground Series games I play.

Try taking the www out of the address. Yes, they do work with the Matrix titles.

Hey Tony

Just downloaded all the battles for the Ulm Campaign and they all are working excellently. The only problem with them is the units icons are wrong which I'm looking into so may be able to change them but otherwise not bad. Instructions are very straight forward to install them had them all done in 15 minutes. I'm going to download the Invasion of Prussia now and see how that goes.

I realise that my earlier question was not actually asking the question that I wanted an answer to.

With HPS campaign Eckemuhl V 1.07 trial in the mix I can only play against those using V 1.06 because all the battles are affected. If I download these BG mods would I still be able to play the original battles against those that have not downloaded them?

Tony, I assume you mean HPS NRC 1.07.....

With NIR add-ons. Yes they go into a separate folder so the original NIR games, scenarios and pdt's remain unaffected. So yes you can play with somebody that doesn't have the add-ons.

I would point out that most of the scenarios have never been playtested. And the majority heavily favour the French side....almost every unit is Q6 or more. The artillery are just killing machines. And the Los on many maps is dodgy. There were great in their day for keeping the genre alive, but nowadays they have been superseded by HPS.
