Congratulations Sir, never was an honour so bestowed upon one so deserving.

Now who is buying. Mine is a fine French red wine.

Salute!

The awarding of these medals is well deserved for your tireless efforts on behalf of L'Empereur's eagles.

It is an honor to serve beside you in the ranks of our Tirailleurs et Dragons!, and even more so to consider you a friend here amidst this milieu you have done so much to flavor and enable us to take our pleasures in.

Regards,

Congratulations, Al! It is good to see honors given to the hardest working French officer, by far, in our club. I am glad to see that your Corps Commanders are making the announcements now in honor of their men. It is evident that by the format and coordination of the annoucements that your steady hand remains involved. You are the single greatest asset that LGA currently has, and certainly one of the greatest officers to ever serve LGA. Were they to empty their coffers and give you every medal in the French aresenal, they could still never honor you enough for the time you have personally invested, and continue to invest on a daily basis to LGA and our Club. Thank you for all that you do, and for the very fine person that you are. I will proudly buy your drinks today, or any other day as well, whenever you have a thirst and a need for someone with whom to slake it.

Congratulations, Al! Very well earned.

We would like to give some rest to Al (before we kill him from exhaustion) by receiving the updates from the DoR for our respective corps instead of him receiving everything. Because that doesn't happen we, the corps commanders, are not able to do correctly our job. It should be Al and John that rely on us (CC and our chef d'etat-major) instead of the contrary.

If the club rely to much on too few it will become a problem when someone is overburden.

As for the format of the announcement, I kind of keep the same as Al because I like it not because we have to.

Congratulations Marechal Al Kling!

Although I don't have a higher post in the command chain and by that also no subordinates I support General Guegan, if the lower levels of the command chain can also do their part the workload for the top will be much less and by that we will spare them for the really important things, our fine leaders surely deserve that.

Nearly three years ago, I suggested to Dominik that there was a need for all officers in our club to be able to see the current status of others, including their Battle Records. We worked together to make this a reality for our members. We created a document in the DoR System that would allow all officers to see the records of others. As I insisted that these records needed to always be current, Dominik applied his vast programming genius to devise a method whereby our system would automatically undate these records every day. As the records include the OBD Points as well as the Battle Records of our officers, the Corps Commanders have had the necessary tool to monitor the promotions and medals earned by their men every day for nearly three years now.

I fully agree with sharing the workload, and am very glad to see you are now developing an interest in doing so.

As for now I can see the "instant muster", which is good but not great because it's not dynamic. I can't know if there is a change unless I copy every day the muster on a file and compare it to yesterday's.

For the record, I am not just now showing my interest in sharing the workload, I have been advocating/asking FOR MONTHS (ask Al).

I do believe David has recently said this in various posts recently and I have sent an email with suggestions to how with a bit of planning from the LGA command could take a lot of this burden from Al, as you are aware. Saying that we should not take away the excellent job Al does as we all agree he is an asset to the club and the LGA.
