Emperor Napoleon's La Grande Armée

has been awarded the
Médaille de Sainte Hélène

Awarded to Officers of La Grande Armee who have held command of a division and performed their duties faithfully for at least 1 year.

The Marechal's performance of his duties has been exemplary since taking command of V Corps.

What? Le Marechal has a new medal? I will have to look for it when I my men are searching his uniform after he surrenders his troops to me and my Allies at Leipzig.

Gentlemen - Salute - Thank you all for the very kind words.

Now Sir Muddy , we all know that the English FM's greatest desire is to capture a French Baton - and we are sure you all lay awake dreaming of someday actually being able to capture a French M's Baton but I worry about your getting yourself all excited, only to face what will be enormous disappointment when you must surrender your sword to the French at Leipzig. I look forward to having it hanging on display over my usual table at the Rhine Tavern, not to worry though Helga keeps my collection well polished. ( and I am sure your King will give you another - you will just have to be more careful with the next one )
