Ed Blackburn has registered a victory with has earned him the 2nd Bar to his Military General Service Medal. This award is actually a bit overdue as the requirement for the 2nd Bar is Forty Victories over French opponents. Sir Ed actually has forty-four victories over our misguided foes to his credit.

Congratulations, Ed! Forty-four French swords and assorted batons certainly improves the appearance of the massive Anglo-Allied Treasure Trove.

And a very hearthy Thank You' to my new Commanding Officer who actually posted the award on the very same day in which the honor was actually earned. I cannot even begin to tell you how much that is appreciated by me. You are shaping up to be a very good inspiration to the men, sir. [Salute] :D :P

Now, if you will excuse me, I must get back to pressing FM Blackburn's shirts. He likes them just so, and it would likely be to my extreme detriment for him to attend his Medal Presentation Ceremony with unsightly wrinkles. :o
