Any word at all on the status of the NRC 1.07 update. I know a test version was released that had a lot of bugs. Have not seen anything new on it since.

Sorry to hear it's full of bugs. I haven't looked at it, but was hoping to check up on it before release because of some problems in the original Gorodetchna scenarios.

My issue with those scenarios, by the way, is that a Saxon hussar shows up with the image of Polish cavalryman in the unitbox when there are several perfectly good Saxon alternatives. There are also several Italian artillerymen that should probably be Saxons.

This kind of thing is hard to spot if you're working with the plain vanilla version (as you probably should be if you're working on the patch), but becomes screamingly obvious when using one of my mods because units have nation-specific rather than side-specific flags in the background of their images.

If anyone is currently working on this project, please feel free to remind Charles about it. I'm pretty sure I mentioned it to him a couple of years ago when I was making my NRC mods, but I doubt that he's that focused on things like this.

The reason this bugs me, by the way, is that it is the only inconsistency of this type in my NRC mods. The fact that a patch is perpetually pending keeps me from wading in and fixing it myself.

Phil - as I understand it only the engine itself has been changed to bring it in line with the other titles. And the pdt's. No modifications to graphics or scenarios. Which is why I too am baffled as to why the patch is not on general release. The What's New at HPS was last updated at Christmas which doesn't bode well. Charlie Cutsall is no longer in any way involved in game design for HPS. A number of scenarios have bugs, as does the campaign tree but I don't think any of that is being modified, unless Bill Peters is looking into it, thus explaining the delay.

I am not aware of Bill looking into this, but am disappointed to hear that the patch is further delayed.

Just saw this on the HPSSIMS board. Looks like it might be soon for the next NRC update.

I hope any NRC owner tries that Patch as it may be the last chance to bring problems to the table and get them solved, I doubt we see any more patches.
